TO MELTON MOWBRAY

RAIL.  Melton Mowbray has a station on the Peterborough to Leicester line.

This links at Peterborough with the East Coast Main Line, with the Midland Main Line at Leicester, and trains run through to Birmingham New Street. Trains are hourly Monday to Saturday, less frequent on Sundays; details at www.thetrainline.com

The station is on Burton Street, a five minute walk from the town centre......but you have to pass a lot of good pubs to get that far!
